CRM Marketing Manager

The role will be responsible for the overall email and marketing automation strategy and execution for all lead-to-client journeys, as well as ongoing client retention. The individual will have a wide ranging role including email marketing, automation of user journeys, lead nurturing programmes, virtual event operations, client comms activities, Microsoft Dynamics and ClickDimensions management and reporting on their weekly/monthly achievements. Your days are guaranteed to be varied and you will be a key part of the marketing team. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Creation, scheduling and AB testing of all marketing and CRM emails, such as regular and solus newsletters, event management, marketing automations and existing processes to all prospects and clients (both B2C)
  • Managing the communication and email marketing calendar with key senior stakeholders
  • Develop, implement and manage lead and client marketing automations to communicate our products and services at various stages of the lead journey, working closely with the CMO and the marketing and sales teams to execute and optimise
  • Act as guardian of the email briefing process and ensure relevant QA, sign off and schedules are adhered to
  • Provide regular reporting of email metrics and insights to the Marketing team and wider business
  • Act as subject matter expert for email marketing tools (ClickDimensions) and optimise effectiveness when combined with other related products
  • Set up and management of the operations side of our internal virtual events, including email invitations and follow ups

You will need to be equally technical and analytic, testing concepts and ideas to achieve growth and create efficiencies building automations across the lead-to-client journey. Creative copy skills would be an advantage too. This role will have significant exposure to different areas of the business, including high-impact marketing projects.

What You'll Need

  • 2-3 years' experience in CRM and marketing automation role
  • A working knowledge of AB testing email and optimising content to improve open, click-through and registration rates
  • Strong understanding of email best practice including design and deliverability
  • Hands on experience of CRM and automation providers, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ClickDimensions
  • Reporting on performance of email engagement metrics
  • Working knowledge of GDPR and considerations for marketing communications
  • Ability and desire to work in a collaborative, fluid environment, where team members support each other across different areas of the business
  • Experience with HTML for email building and CMS a plus
