About Netwealth
Netwealth is a pioneering wealth manager with a hybrid model that blends deep human expertise with the power of modern technology. Founded in early 2016 by Charlotte Ransom and Thomas Salter – former Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan executives – we combine a highly experienced investment team with powerful technology and financial tools.  
 
Our wealth management service targets a mass-affluent and high-net-worth audience (with clients investing on average around £500,000 across ISAs, Pensions and GIAs), where clients can either choose their portfolios online or access our comprehensive financial planning service. The portfolios are then managed by a highly seasoned investment team and all clients can speak with qualified financial advisers at any time to get help with their financial affairs.

About the Advisory Team
The aim of our Advisory team is to provide a highly professional and high quality service for Netwealth clients, managing requests promptly, accurately and efficiently.

As a member of the Advisory Team you will be primarily responsible for providing regulated financial advice to Netwealth’s clients. This will either be one-off pieces of work or regular advice reports to existing clients. Reporting into the Head of Advice, you will also assist with identifying potential clients, their on-boarding and overseeing the management of the relationship with them.

About you
You are likely to have the following experience and attributes:

  • Professional, motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Capable of presenting clearly and concisely in a pressured environment
  • Ability to communicate complex matters in a clear and simple fashion, clear ability to listen.
  • Strong but tactful questioning skills and an ability to interpret personal information with a view to understanding an individuals’ motivations and drivers

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of RDR Level 4 FCA approved regulatory qualification
  • Preference for CII Diploma in Financial Planning, Chartered Financial Planner or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Experience in advising HNWI’s on wealth planning, including making best use of available tax allowances
  • UK pension and personal taxation knowledge across all relevant areas

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Be a key external face of Netwealth advising customers on investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team to investigate customer issues and to understand all communications that need to be relayed to one or more customers.
  • In conjunction with the compliance team, be responsible for reviewing and ensuring that the required AML / KYC regulatory requirements are met for your advised clients
  • Ensure all advice given to clients is suitable and follows relevant FCA procedures and requirements.
  • Continuous improvement of the Customer Journey: collate feedback for management on a regular basis, suggest common themes or areas to be addressed and create action plans.
  • Provide assistance to the Client Services Team with queries arising from Clients or potential Clients. Provide cover for the client service team as and when required.
  • Work with the Operations and Technology teams to test new features of the service, specifically from the customer perspective.
